FOOTBALL: Onuachu Wins Turkish Super Lig Player of the Month Award
Nigeria international Paul Onuachu has been named Turkish Super Lig Player of the Month for October, capping off an impressive run of form for Trabzonspor.
The towering striker beat eight other nominees to clinch the individual honour after a stellar month in which he scored two goals and provided one assist in three league appearances.
Onuachu’s contributions proved decisive as Trabzonspor, popularly known as the Black Sea Storm, went unbeaten in October, recording two wins and one draw.
This latest accolade adds to an already impressive season for the 29-year-old forward, who has twice won the league’s Goal of the Month award earlier in the campaign.
Onuachu, currently on loan from English club Southampton, has become a key figure for Trabzonspor, with his clinical finishing and aerial prowess earning praise from fans and pundits alike.
