A new animated series that will have the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan animated in it, is being developed by American over-the-top content platform and production company, Netflix.
The development which was announced on Tuesday by Netflix, is a collaborative effort which also involves the production of the outfit founded by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan and Archewell Productions.
According to a press release the adventures of a 12-year-old girl, who is “inspired by a variety of influential women from history,” will be documented in the series and with the title, “Pearl.”
“Like many girls her age, our heroine Pearl is on a journey of self-discovery as she tries to overcome life’s daily challenges,”
Meghan has commented on the planned efforts of Netflix and Archewell Productions, she said in a statement. “I’m thrilled that Archewell Productions, partnered with the powerhouse platform of Netflix, and these incredible producers, will together bring you this new animated series, which celebrates extraordinary women throughout history.”
On her role, Meghan will serve as an executive producer, alongside David Furnish (“Rocketman”) and others.
