Renowned Nigerian music artiste, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, well known as D’banj has put up a superb performance at the 2021 edition of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) Pageant, which was held in Eko Hotel and Suites Lagos.
The Koko master as he is also called, met the expectations of the guests, dignitaries, fans, music enthusiasts, celebrities, distinguished ladies and gentlemen who were at the illustrious event.
The writer, entrepreneur and television personality got a standing ovation after hitting the stage to perform hit songs from his previous albums.
Some of the dignitaries at the 2021 MBGN are: the 2021 MBGN queen who doubles as the first black and Nigerian woman to win the Miss World pageant, Agbani Darego, popular writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, the founder of Silverbird Group, Ben Murray Bruce, President, Silverbird Group, Guy Murray Bruce, former Mr. Nigeria, Brian Okpara, MBGN 2018 winner, Adaeze Yobo and others.
Hosts, renowned Nigerian female OAP, Toke Makinwa and Nigerian stand-up comedian, actor, and writer from Delta State, Bovi were also at their best at the famous event.
The most interesting and remarkable moment at the event was the crowning of one of the contestants, Miss Abuja, as the new MBGN 2021 queen.
Her status changed automatically, after the judges sent the results to Mr Guy Murray Bruce to announce her as the winner of the beauty contest.
Four contestants who made the top 5 after the screening of 15 and 37 contestants, clinched the title of Miss Universe, Miss Supranational, Miss Ecowas and Amity.
