Broadcaster, Piers Morgan on Wednesday said he still did not believe what Meghan had said during her Oprah Winfrey interview.
On the development, 55 year-old Morgan lost his job over his attacks on Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan, a reliable source said.
It all started in the show on ITV’s Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, when Meghan revealed she had felt suicidal while living as a royal in Britain. But Morgan had a backlash against his comments in the Duchess of Sussex’s interview with Winfrey.
In reaction to the development, Morgan Tweeted on Wednesday morning. He said,
“On Monday, I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview. I’ve had time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don’t. If you did, OK,”
“Freedom of speech is a hill I’m happy to die on. Thanks for all the love, and hate. I’m off to spend more time with my opinions.”
