Beauty queen Rachel Slawson has revealed her bisexual identity after emerging as Miss Utah USA.
Interestingly, a reliable source disclosed that, Rachael will be the first contestant in the Miss USA pageant’s 68-year history, to openly disclose her personal secret.
Rachel, 25, also competed for the crown five times before she finally won, and this year, her first time on the national stage.
Discussing her sexuality onstage is what she has never done before but the a 7-year pageant veteran, did it after clinching Miss Utah USA.
Speaking to CNN, Rachel expressed her feelings and made a crucial statement concerning her sexual status. In her words, “After years of trying to be somebody else, it turns out being yourself is what works.”
Rachel said also went ahead to that she was not shy from tough conversations, before she was crowned and her she dealt with her emotions.
A proof reflected on Instagram when she shared her shared her bipolar diagnosis, a suicide attempt at 19 and her struggle to accept herself.
Rachel said, “They picked me!” after displaying a character that is worthy of emulations-her transparency was largely positive.
Her past is part of why she chose mental health awareness and suicide prevention as her primary platforms.
