Nigerian beauty queens, Aramide Lopez and Anita Ukah have shared their experiences about the Just concluded Miss World and Miss Universe beauty competitions.
The representatives for the Miss Universe and Miss World Pageant, Aramide Lopez and Anita Ukah have done their nation Nigeria proud by representing Nigeria at the pageants.
They both appeared as special guests on Silverbird Television foremost programme Today on STV, anchored by Shade Ladipo.
Sharing their experiences while on the show, Aramide said she did not see all the accolades coming at the event, even though she did not make the top thirty.
Speaking further, Aramide said, the people over there hardly cheered Africans but she was amazed at the way they cheered her up when she came on stage, emphasizing that it was an amazing experience and she had to do it for Nigeria.
Anita who was crowned the most beautiful girl in Nigeria in September, stated that since she had the encounter at the just concluded Miss World Pageant, her life has changed and she has been seeing things differently.
Stating further, she also revealed that there is more to life stressing that getting to the top thirty was so exiting because she had so much support from her family members and people she does not know.
Concerning cultures, languages and lifestyle, she said it was wonderful experiencing diverse way of life at the just concluded Miss World Pageant in Sanya, China.
On the subject of winning the crown, Aramide stated that winning means different things to different people as it could mean learning about other cultures, meeting new set of people, stressing that she is happy she made it to the top 30.
Both Beauty queens agreed that their experiences were worthwhile because they learnt a lot and as beauty queens, they have the duty to put a smile on people’s face.
