British professional Tennis player, Emma Raducanu has been named ambassador of renowned fashion company, Dior.

This development for the current British No. 1, occurred just over a month after winning the women’s singles title at the 2021 US Open.

The feat for the talented tennis player, is that she will represent the womenswear collections of French luxury fashion house and its skincare and makeup categories.

Raducanu, 18, has started her ambassadorial work with her wearing a Grecian style gown designed by Dior’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri for the Cruise 2022 collection.

This happened ahead of the announcement on Tuesday, where she was in attendance at world premiere of the James Bond film “No Time to Die” in September.

So far, Raducanu has made comments to expressed herself, narrating what the red-carpet event was to her.

Raducanu while speaking in an interview with British Vogue said,

 “Being able to wear a dress like that made with all the magic in the Dior ateliers was a totally unique experience,”

 “The detailed embroidery was exceptional and I was so honoured to attend my first movie premiere in it.”

On her career, the first qualifier to win a Grand Slam title became famous after her impact at Wimbledon this past summer.

Winner of the US Open as a newcomer also beat out 19-year-old Canadian tennis player Leylah Fernandez in the finals.
