The management of Arik Air is pleading with government and the Central Bank of Nigeria to make available a window where EFEX can be accessed on a continuous basis by airline operators. 
They say the myriad of challenges mainly stems from infrastructural  decay in the industry which government  should focus on rather than concessioning.
These were some of the issues which took the centre stage during the airline's 10th anniversary celebration in Lagos. 
And to the capital market report, the equities market closed on Tuesday on a positive note, as the all share index appreciated by 0.12 percent to close at 27, 252.48  basis points compared with the0.27 percent depreciation recorded previously.
The market breadth closed positive, but turnover closed negative, as volume moved down by fourteen point six nine percent.
