The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has seized the travel passport of Rear Admiral Amaechina Alison-Madueke, husband of the former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke.

According to a source, the anti-graft agent has traced some documents that could help it in the investigation of the former minister to Rear Admiral Amaechina Alison-Madueke and has restricted his movement pending the conclusion of its findings.

It was learnt that the anti-graft agency had earlier invited the man and was grilled for hours before it finally seized the travel passport.

The National Crime Agency (NCA) in the United Kingdom (UK) arrested and quizzed  Mrs Alison-Madueke and four others on October 2, last year for alleged bribery and corruption and money laundering.

The source disclosed “We have questioned the husband and for now he has been granted administrative bail. But all his travelling documents are with us. Therefore, his movement has been restricted to the country pending the conclusion of this investigation.
