Queens Park Rangers football club attacking midfielder,  Eberechi Eze has attracted the interest of Tottenham football club.

As Jose Mourinho will be aiming to make his first signing for the club over the coming weeks, the London  club have placed a price tag of £20million on the Nigerian.

Eze had scored nine times this season in 25 matches, while he’s also recorded four assists in that time.

Tottenham are keen on the former Rangers midfielder, who can play in the No 10 role and as a No 8.

But Spurs have been put off by the price being quotes by QPR, who are 15th in the Championship.

According to The Athletic, QPR want around £20m for the 21-year-old.

Tottenham broke their transfer record in the summer when they signed Tanguy Ndombele for £55m.

But the former Lyon player is struggling under Mourinho, who dropped him for the home win against Brighton last week.

So far, Jose Mourinho has not been impressed with the form of Spurs, as they have been inconsistent as of late. Their loss to Chelsea and a draw with Norwich came either side of the Brighton victory.

In his words, Mourinho said, “Four matches away, we won two, we drew one and we lost one,”

“Is that better than before? Yes. Is it perfect? No.

“If we came to Norwich and we cannot create and Norwich dominates us, we have to defend well, we resist, we draw 0-0, maybe you have to admit a positive result.
