DEATH TOLL REACHES FOUR IN MICHIGAN CHURCH SHOOTING AND ARSON ATTACK
At least four people were killed and eight others injured after a gunman crashed a vehicle into a church in Grand Blanc, Michigan, opened fire, and set the building on fire during a Sunday service, authorities reported.
The incident occurred at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located approximately 60 miles (100km) northwest of Detroit, with hundreds of worshippers present.
The suspect, identified as 40-year-old Thomas Jacob Sanford from Burton, Michigan, was fatally shot by police in the church’s parking lot.
Officials are investigating the attack as a deliberate act of targeted violence, though the motive remains under investigation.
