Chelsea’s Champions League match against Malmo on Wednesday has ended with a 4-0 victory  for the blues at Stamford Bridge and a devastating injury sustained by Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner.

The injuries for both players occurred in the first half as both of them were forced off in the first half of their side’s clash with Swedish outfit, Malmo. Before the injury, Lukaku was awarded a penalty after displaying class.

The Blues took the lead very early with a goal from Andreas Christensen.

Lukaku who was replaced by Kai Havertz, got injured while walking straight down the tunnel after landing awkwardly on his ankle, as Jorginho converted the goal from the spot to make it 2-0.

As if it was not enough, the worry increased for Tuchel when Werner joined Lukaku on the injury list, as the Germany international went down in the box clutching his hamstring.
