Chelsea on Sunday defeated Tottenham 2-0 for the third time in three weeks in the English Premier League.
After a goalless draw in the first half of the half, talented Blues player, Hakim Ziyech scored a superb goal and Thiago Silver increased the goals tally with another goal.
Interestingly, Callum Hudson-Odoi with an assist, played a huge role in Ziyech’s goal after making a great run, before handing over to the attacking midfielder.
Mason Mount’s excellent free-kick delivery made difference in the match when defender Thiago Silva utilised the ball with his head to double the lead for the Blues.
Tottenham’s attempt to score in the first half paid off when Harry Kane slotted past Kepa Arrizabalaga, but the goal was ruled out as the England striker was adjudged to have pushed Silva to the ground.
This win for Chelsea follows Chelsea’s wins in both legs of their Carabao Cup semi-final against Spurs, cruising through 3-0 on aggregate to set up a Wembley final against Liverpool.
