Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has said that his objective is not just to win the ongoing African Nations Championship, CHAN in Rwanda but to integrate some of the players into AFCON and World Cup qualifiers.

He said, “We are building a team, our objective is not just about winning the championship, but for the team to get better and also build a solid team. If you notice the team, the players are very young and we plan to integrate some of them to the main team for the AFCON and World Cup qualifiers.”
He said that the team is ready to do the nation proud in the ongoing African Nations Championship in Rwanda.

According to him, the players are in top shape for the opening game against Niger on Monday and the boys are ready to take the championship by storm.
“The camp mood is very good, right from the beginning the boys have been focused and cohesion among them is great,” Oliseh said.

Speaking further, the coach said the players are getting better than when they arrived in Pretoria, South Africa, for the pre-tournament camping and will continue to get better as the competition progresses.
