CAF AWARDS: OSIMHEN, AJIBADE MAKE FINAL SHORTLIST
Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen and Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade have been named in the final shortlist for the 2025 CAF Awards.
Osimhen, the 2023 African Player of the Year, made the final three in the Men’s Player of the Year category. He will contest the award with Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi and Egypt’s Mohamed Salah.
In the women’s category, Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade is among the last three contenders for the 2025 Women’s Player of the Year. She will compete with Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak and Sanaa Mssoudy.
Winners in all categories will be unveiled at the CAF Awards ceremony later this year
