President Muhammadu Buhari has named Mr. Edward Adamu as Chairman of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria.

This was contained in a letter sent to the Senate by the President on Tuesday.

Before now, Dr.Muiz Banire, a former legal adviser to the All Progressives Congress was the chairman.

Earlier on Monday, the president sent the list of the new chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service and other members of the board to the senate for approval. Babatunde Fowler was the immediate past FIRS Boss.

In the list is Mr. Muhammad M. Nami who is to be approved as the new FIRS Chairman.
