President Muhammadu Buhari has cleared the Secretary-to-the government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal of any wrongdoing in the award of contracts in the presidential initiative to tackle the  humanitarian crisis in the northeast.
 
The president also requested the senate to confirm Ibrahim Magu as the chairman of the economic and financial crimes commission.
 
The federal government wants to address bureaucratic bottlenecks that frustrate micro, small and medium enterprises in the country.

The senate had exposed records of allegation brought before it against Magu and Lawal.

After a thourough investigation by the office of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justce, both officers were exenorated.
 
Meanwhile acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday launched the micro, small and medium enterprises clinic at state House, Abuja.
