CHARLES SOLUDO OF APGA WINS 2025 ANAMBRA GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially declared Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), winner of the 2025 Anambra Governorship Election.
According to the final results announced at the INEC State Collation Centre in Awka, Soludo polled a total of 422,664 votes, defeating his closest rival from the All Progressives Congress (APC), who secured 97,513 votes. The Labour Party (LP) candidate came third with 11,204 votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) trailed with 1,472 votes.
The State Returning Officer, Prof. Edogah Omoregie, declared Soludo winner in the early hours of Sunday after concluding collation from all 21 local government areas.
With this victory, Soludo secured a second term as Governor of Anambra State, continuing his administration under the APGA platform.
