As the beauty pageant business continues to grow, and drawing more aspiring beauty queens, a considerable number of young ladies have shown interest in pageant grooming and mentor-ship.
In a chat with Silverbird Television fast rising entertainment platform ‘Entertainment Gist’, fast rising presenter at Silverbird Television, Winfrey Okolo admonished some set of young and upcoming beauty beautiful girls, as she said:
‘’Being a beauty queen, and participating in pageantry is not just about attending once and concluding, but to be an absolute beauty quuen requires a whole lot of work’’.
At the grooming and mentorship event, fifteen ladies were mentored by beauty queens and other specialist in the business.
The event opened with a Home Appliance specialist, Mr. Olorunnimbe Mustapha, who taught them some things they needed to know when dealing with home appliances and cooking in general, in the kitchen.
Silverbird MBGN beauty queen Anita Ukah, and Mr. Nigeria, Nelson Enrwerem, also gave their professional advice and tutelage to the young girls, emphasizing that pageantry requires experience and basic knowledge and not something they need to dabble into just like that.
MBGN Ecowas winner, Emmanuella Yaboh, also shared her peiece of advice with the young potential beauty queens as she stated that, the competition is a fragile one which is the reason they have to be properly groomed and pre informed so that when they go into a competition
Grooming and and etiquette expert, Janet Adeti also revealed her own side of the grooming story to the young beautiful girls stating that some things are taken for granted, admonishing them to start with what they wear.
