BASKETBALL:- Hakeem Olajuwon’s Sons Dump Nigeria for Jordan

The sons of Nigerian basketball legend and FIBA Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon are carrying forward their father’s legacy on the international stage, representing Jordan in the ongoing 2025 FIBA Asia Cup.

Abdullah Olajuwon and his younger brother Abdulrahman were both born in Jordan and are making their debut in the continental tournament.

Abdullah has been a key contributor for the team, averaging 10 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1.5 assists across Jordan’s first two games. Abdulrahman has seen limited minutes so far.

Their father, a former NBA Most Valuable Player and Class of 2016 FIBA Hall of Fame inductee, travelled to Saudi Arabia to watch them play.

Jordan are in Group C alongside China, India, and Saudi Arabia as they aim for a strong run in the tournament.
