Nigerian comedienne and actress Damilola Adekoya, also called known Princess, has made comments after her colleague, Olanrewaju Omiyinka well known as Baba Ijesha was sentenced to 16 years imprisonment.

Going memory lane on the reason for the verdict, Baba Ijesha was arrested last year and arraigned before the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court after he was caught in an indecent position with a child on camera, The Punch reports.

He later faced six counts of child defilement that included indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault by penetration, and sexual assault by penetration.

According to Justice Taiwo Oluwatoyin, who delivered the judgement on Thursday, the prosecution failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the defendant was guilty of all the charges against him.
