Troops of the Nigerian Army have killed several Boko Haram terrorists along Bama Road in Borno State.
Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Sani Usman, in a statement said the feat was recorded by troops attached to Operation Lafiya Dole.
Brigadier General Usman added that the troops rescued a six-year-old boy who is already being treated.
Troops of 152 battalion, 21 brigade had earlier ambushed a group of terrorists on friday along banki-bula-yobe road in bama local government area of borno state.

The Nigerian Air Force has continued to destroy hideouts of Boko Haram members as it carries out aerial bombardments in Sambisa.
The bombardment has been a night and day exercise.
The Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF Headquarters, Air Commodore Olatokunbo Adesanya, made this known in a statement.
He said last week, NAF conducted an air interdiction mission on a blue-roofed structure in Talala in Sambisa. According to him, subsequent battle damage assessment revealed that the building and its occupants were neutralised as a result of the air strike.
