Members of the All Progressive Congress APC in Rivers State today staged a peaceful protest to the Rivers State Judiciary Complex and the State House of Assembly.

The protesters accused the speaker of state assembly Adams Dabotudirma of failing to swear in Victoria Nyeche  and Andrew Miller as representatives.

Both lawmakers are members of the All Progressives Congress.

A High Court in Port Harcourt stopped the house from swearing in Victoria Nyeche over alleged impersonation while Andrew Miller was not invited for swearing in.

The leader of the protest and the Deputy National Secretary of the APC, Orji Ngorfa described the incident as an injustice to the two lawmakers.
