The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers says none of its members in Petroleum Tanker Drivers unit was shot by mobile police officer in Apapa on Wednesday.
The Chairman, South-west zone of the Union, Tokunbo Korodo, said he was able to confirm that none of his members was killed.
He said “the shooting incident involved drivers of articulated vehicles.

There was riot in Apapa on Wednesday when a mobile policeman attached to a bank shot dead the driver of an articulated vehicle.

Mobs however trooped to Diamond Bank and Sterling Bank branches and set it ablaze.
