AFCON 2025 FALLOUT:- FOUR AFRICAN COUNTRIES BATTLE NFF OVER CHELLE
The scintilating brand of football played by the Super Eagles at the just concluded 2025 AFCON tournament in Morocco has made Eric Chelle to be highly sought after by some countries African team.
Chelle, who was employed by the NFF last January has demonstrated strong technical prowess to turn the Super Eagles to a very formidable foe in Africa, unlike what was witnessed during the 2026 world cup qualifiers, where countries like Lesotho,
Rwanda and Zimbabwe to mention but a few, held Nigeria to ransome on the pitch.
The tide changed since Chelle took over and little wonder that Uganda, Guinea, and Mali are all eager to have the service of the Franco- Malian gaffer according to a reliable source close to Eric.
Uganda and Guinea are willing to pay him higher than what he is earning in Nigeria.
Mali has also tabled their own financial package for him
