Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has acknowledged that significant preparation is required behind the scenes ahead of Nigeria’s semi-final clash with host nation Morocco at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Nigeria will take on the Atlas Lions in a highly anticipated semi-final encounter as the Super Eagles aim to reach the AFCON final for the second consecutive time.
The fixture is expected to be a stern test for Chelle’s side, given Morocco’s quality and the advantage of playing on home soil.
Speaking ahead of the game, Chelle praised the strength of the Moroccan team while noting the unique pressure that comes with being tournament hosts.
The Nigerian coach also reserved special praise for his opposite number, Walid Regragui, and the depth of talent in the Moroccan squad.
