Youths from Kodomun Village in Adamawa State have  recovered  additional eight bodies  bringing  the death toll from the herdsmen attacks  to thirty.
And the Adamawa State Police Commissioner, Mohammed Ghazzali has been criticised over his comment and handling of the attacks.
He had reportedly claimed no life was lost. A claim that elicited anger from some residents.
Mr Ghazzali explained that his refusal to deploy policemen to Kodomun, which had come under attacks, from Fulani herdsmen, earlier on Friday and Saturday, before that of Monday was done so as not to make him look like “taking sides”.
But Martins Babale, who represented the state governor during a visit to the area, distanced the state government from the utterance of the police commissioner, describing the claim as his professional opinion.
