The newly appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd), Mr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, has affirmed his commitment to building strong and effective partnerships with key stakeholders. This pledge was made during a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, on Wednesday.
A statement signed by Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer NNPCL stated that, Mr. Ojulari emphasized that his leadership team is entering office with a collaborative spirit and a strong determination to achieve significant impact. He highlighted that NNPC Ltd.’s success hinges on close collaboration with the Ministry of Petroleum, the Ministry of Finance, and other crucial institutions to overcome obstacles and expedite progress.
In response, Senator Lokpobiri expressed strong confidence in the new NNPC Ltd. leadership, citing the team’s strong reputation and capabilities. He urged the team to translate this reputation into tangible results, particularly in increasing crude oil production and maximizing value for Nigerians.
The Minister assured Mr. Ojulari of his full support and strategic guidance, pledging to create an enabling environment for NNPC Ltd. to succeed in its national mandate. This renewed commitment to partnership signals a new era for the oil and gas sector.
