UCL: Bennacer Scores As Milan Beat Napoli 1-0

AC Milan on Wednesday grabbed a 1-0 win over Napoli in the Champions League quarter-final first-leg win.

The only goal of the match came from Algeria midfielder, Ismael Bennacer five minutes before half-time.

This win for Milan is the second over Serie A leaders, Napoli in less than two weeks as Luciano Spalletti’s team will play the return leg at Stadio Maradona in Naples next week.

Napoli’s pointsman, Victor Osimhen will be back for the second leg on Tuesday after Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa was sent off in the 74th minute in the match.

Napoli made many attempts on goal but Milan goalkeeper, Mike Maignan made vital saves to stop Napoli from scoring.

One of the most important save from Milan’s keeper was made after Giovanni Di Lorenzo made towards the end of the match.

Milan’s win has given them hope as they prepare for the second leg of the quarter-finals

The last time Milan was crowned kings of Europe for the seventh was in 2007.
