A protest, spearheaded by the Take-It-Back Movement, has begun in Abuja.
Demonstrators are decrying the alleged misuse of the Cybercrime Act, the nation’s severe economic crisis, and the declared “state of emergency” in Rivers State.
The protest, which started today, April 7, 2025, follows a statement from TIB’s National Coordinator, Juwon Sanyaolu, criticized the government’s “increasing authoritarianism” and called for immediate relief for struggling Nigerians.
