Italian football club, Napoli is preparing for the UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash with AC Milan, with doubts if Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen will be featured in the match on Wednesday.
The uncertainty came after the Napoli striker missed Napoli’s last two Serie A clashes against AC Milan and Lecce after he got injured with a knee injury while on international duty in March.
Sources revealed that Osimhen, 24, he is yet to fully recover from the injury but the club is hoping that the player would bounce back for the Champions League quarter-final first leg clash against Milan on Wednesday.
The talented player according to Gianluca Di Marzio, recently trained, but did it alone session alone before approaching the gym.
As Napoli is planning to win their first Scudetto since 1990 and they are also not likely to rush the Osimhen back to the pitch since they still have nine matches to go in Serie A.
On his feat so far in the club, Osimhen has scored 25 goals in 29 matches in all competitions and maintains the lead in the Serie A top scorers list with 21 goals and four assists.
