World Cup Qualifier: Rwanda’s Star Defender To Miss Super Eagles Clash

Ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifier, Rwanda’s national team, the Amavubi, will take on Nigeria’s Super Eagles without their key defender, Emmanuel Manishimwe Mangwende.

Rwanda is set to host the three-time African champions in the next round of qualifiers.

However, a recent update from Rwanda revealed that Mangwende has suffered a knee injury.

His club, AEL Limassol in Cyprus, confirmed on Tuesday that he will be sidelined for at least two months.

The Amavubi will look to maintain their strong form as they prepare to face the Super Eagles in March.
