Fans React After Super Eagles Beat Guinea-Bissau

Fans have reacted after the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Monday secured a 1-0 win against Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau in the 2023 African Nations Cup qualifiers.

The match which was played in front the home fans of the Djurtus of Guinea Bissau was a revenge of their first-leg 1-0 defeat against the Super Eagles at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja March 24.

Super Eagles player, Moses Simon scored a superb 30th-minute penalty which gave the Eagles the needed three points after the match, after right-back Samuel Osayi was brought down inside the box of the hosts.

However, reactions trailed the win of the Super Eagles as fans on Monday said they were unimpressed by the Super Eagles 1-0 win over the Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), some of the fans said they were yet to be convinced by the performance of the Jose Pesseiro-tutored team, which they described as below average.
