The Federal Government of Nigeria, in collaboration with stakeholders in the agricultural sector has intensified efforts to boost food production in Nigeria by empowering small holders farmers across the country.
This was disclosed by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari during the opening ceremony of the National Agricultural Extension Service Impact-Sharing Workshop in Abuja.
The Minister represented by the Director of Agricultural Extension at the National Agricultural Extension Service, Deola Olawuni noted that the empowerment has started contributing to the sustainable development of Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
