The Independent National Electoral Commission has challenged Journalist to ensure factual reportage of stories in the Build up to the November 16 Governorship election in ondo state.
INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner for Ondo State, Oluwatoyin Babalola gave this advise in Akure,the state capital at a workshop for media practitioners in the state.
Babalola ,described the role of media in shaping public opinion and disseminating information as invaluable.
She admonished the media to check the threat of fake news to prevent unnecessary tension and violence in the November 16 Election.
