Flamingos striker Harmony Chidi has expressed her delight after claiming the Player of the Match award in Nigeria’s 4-0 win over Ecuador in their second Group A match of the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup in the Dominican Republic.
Chidi failed to get on the score sheet in Nigeria’s opening 4-1 win over New Zealand but lived up to the billing on Saturday night, grabbing Nigeria’s second goal in the 54th minute.
Nigeria will hope to make it three wins from as many games and end the group stage with a 100 per cent record when they face the Dominican Republic in their final group game in Santo Domingo, on Wednesday.
