Nigeria Decides 2023: Gov. Seyi Makinde Casts Vote

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, the gubernatorial candidate of People’s Democratic Party, has arrived at his polling unit at about 10.30 a.m. to cast his vote at Ward 11, Unit 01, Abayomi Iwo-Road in Ibadan North East Local Council.

Governor Makinde, who is seeking a second-term, had earlier been verified and accredited with the BVAS machine.

Speaking briefly with journalists, the governor appreciated the people of Oyo State for coming out, asking others to also troop out en mass to exercise their civic rights.

He also described the voting process as peaceful, commending the security agencies for doing a good job.

Likewise, Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Teslim Folarin arrived his Polling unit at about 10: 40 a.m.

Folarin casted his vote at Unit 2, Ward 5, Idi-ose, Ona-ara LGA, immediately after his accreditation by INEC officials.

Sen. Folarin, after voting at his Polling unit, expressed satisfaction in the voting process.
