Interim Coach of the Super Eagles, Austin Eguavoen has said he’s still.in charge of the Super Eagles labelling reports about him stepping aside as fake news.
Many media organisations (not Rhythmsports or Stv sports cafe) had reported that the Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation, Austin Eguavoen has stepped aside after managing the Super Eagles in the match day 1&2 of the 2025 African Nations Cup qualifier games against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
Speaking immediately after their arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Abuja, he said: “It’s just unfortunate that people just triggered something that is not correct and the situation we are in now, we don’t need negative stories.
