The Nigerian Air Force says its team of Special Forces has killed a known terrorist kingpin, Mustapha Abdullahi, and 5 others in Sabon Gida Forest along Sabon Birni Road in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
This was contained in a statement made available to our Correspondent by the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet in Abuja.
He disclosed that after making contact with the terrorists who were on motorcycles, the terrorists immediately opened fire and were met with superior fire power by the troops.
The NAF spokesman said efforts by the troops to rid Igabi, Birnin Gwari and environs of criminals and their activities remain ongoing.
