Cole Palmer: Chelsea Forward Wins 2023/24 PFA Young Player Award

Chelsea Football Club player, Cole Palmer has won the 2023/24 PFA Young Player of the Year award.

This comes after the talented player’s outstanding performances and potential over the past season.

An announcement on the Professional Footballers Association X account, #PFA on Tuesday, revealed this.

The Professional Footballers’ Association Awards celebrated the elite of the Premier League on Tuesday night.

Going memory lane on his football career, Palmer was once a City academy graduate. He missed out on the main award but was named the men’s Young Player of the Year after an impressive debut season at Chelsea.

On goal scoring, Palmer achieved the feat of topping the Premier League with 22 goals and 11 assists.

Bukayo Saka, Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, Joao Pedro, and Michael Olise, were the other players, nominated alongside Palmer, but did not make the PFA Team of the Year.

Following Scott Parker (2003-04) and Eden Hazard (2013-14), he is the third Chelsea player to receive the award.
