Manager of Liverpool Football club, Jurgen Klopp says Arsenal will beat Manchester United warned next month if the Red Devils replicate the same performance against his Liverpool side.
Drawing 2-2 at Old Trafford on Sunday. the German professional football manager urged Liverpool to “stay calm” after losing the Premier League leadership this weekend, BBC reports.
Regardless of the fact that the Gunners are the new leaders – on the season’s penultimate weekend, United could yet help Klopp’s side, as they host Arsenal.
Although, for Klopp’s wish to be a reality, United need to up their game if they are to halt Mikel Arteta’s side.
When asked if he would be cheering for United on 11 May, the Liverpool boss said, “Probably,” “If we are still around then that would be great.
“But Arsenal are a good football team. If they [United] play like today, Arsenal will win the game, I am 100% sure. I am sorry to say that.”
In three weeks, Sunday’s match was Liverpool second visit to Old Trafford. Interestingly, they had a total of 53 shots over those two matches, yet won neither.
Klopp who spent most of his playing career at Mainz 05, is widely regarded as one of the best football managers in the world.
