Academy awards, the Oscars has taken centre on Sunday, March 10, at the Dolby Theatre, in Los Angeles, honouring personalities who have achievements in film.
During the 96th edition ceremony, some winners emerged at as legendary actor, Alfred Pacino, aka Al Pacino, announced the winner of the Best Picture award early Monday.
It was an interesting moment as the 83-year-old, also called ‘The Godfather,’ jumped protocol when he quickly announced the Oscars award winner for the Best Picture award before listing the nominees in the category, as against the tradition at the Oscars.
“I see Oppenheimer,” he said.
Interestingly, Oppenheimer stole the show at the Oscars as the three-hour-long epic movie got seven awards, including the Best Actor, Best Director and Best Picture categories, amongst others.
