The first Nigerian to win gold at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta Chioma Ajunwa-Opara, MON, OLY, former Super Falcons players, Ugochi Desire Oparanozie, Amarachi Lilian Ezeabasili and others were exited after the three days scouting program came to an end in a grand style on Friday at the Police College Ikeja, Lagos.
The three days tournament which was organised by Chioma Ajunwa Foundation and Lily Legends Sports, in partnership with Givers Embassy International Grassroots Football achieved its aim of discovering young talents as ten male and ten female players were selected to be given opportunities to join local football leagues, and others that are ready will go for trials abroad.
The Renowned Nigerian sports legends have made impact in the grassroot sports with the scouting program.
