INEC Sets Dates for 2027 General Elections; Presidential Polls Slated for January 16

The commission has scheduled the Presidential and National Assembly elections for Saturday, January 16, 2027.
Following the national contest, the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections are set to take place on Saturday, February 6, 2027.
