ABUJA, NIGERIA—President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially sworn in General Christopher Danjuma (retd.), the former Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), as the new Minister of Defence.
The swearing-in ceremony took place moments ago at the State House in Abuja, following the general’s successful confirmation.
The news was confirmed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, who announced the development via his official social media handle.
