NAVY SHUTS DOWN SIX UNAUTHORIZED REFINING SITES IN DELTA
The Nigerian Navy’s Forward Operating Base (FOB), Escravos, reported the neutralization of six illegal refining operations in the Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Capt. Ikenna Okoloagu, Commanding Officer of FOB Escravos, announced this in a statement released on Sunday in Warri. He noted that the illicit refining sites were dismantled in the Obodo Omadino Community.
Okoloagu stated that the operation, conducted from September 3 to September 24, was based on actionable intelligence received from the Obodo Omadino Community. The initiative aligns with the objectives of the ongoing Operation DELTA SANITY II.
