Osimhen set to be fully fit for Galatasaray’s clashes with Liverpool, Beşiktaş
Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is on course to regain full fitness in time for the club’s upcoming fixtures against Liverpool and Beşiktaş
According to Galatasaray insider Yakup Çınar, who shared the update on the Yeni Açık YouTube channel, Osimhen’s recovery from an ankle ligament injury is progressing well.
The Nigerian forward, sustained the knock earlier this month while representing Nigeria against Rwanda in a FIFA World Cup qualifier, forcing him to miss several games including Galatasaray’s 4–0 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Champions League on Thursday.
Galatasaray will host Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, September 30, before facing Beşiktaş in the Turkish Super Lig on October 4.
