Grealish Wins August Premier League Player of the Month
Everton forward Jack Grealish has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for August, the first time in his career he has claimed the award.
Grealish, who joined Everton on loan from Manchester City, delivered an impressive debut month at Goodison Park, registering four assists in just three matches. No player in the league created more goals during the period.
The 30-year-old becomes the first Everton player to pick up the award since Dominic Calvert-Lewin in September 2020, underlining his immediate impact on Sean Dyche’s side.
The award adds to a strong start for the Toffees, who are hoping Grealish’s creativity and experience will boost their push up the Premier League table this season.
