The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won 20 local government areas, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secured 3 LGAs in the just concluded Rivers State Local Government elections held on Saturday, August 30, 2025.
The results were officially announced by the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) late Sunday night.
This development marks a significant victory for the APC in Rivers State politics, traditionally dominated by the PDP.
