Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun cast his vote in the ongoing by-election for Remo Federal Constituency.
The governor arrived at Ward 3, Polling Unit 002, Ita Osanyin, Iperu, Ikenne Local Government Area,
Speaking shortly after exercising his franchise, Abiodun expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the process and commended the Independent National Electoral Commission ,INEC, for its level of preparedness.
He noted that voting was orderly and peaceful despite minor hitches with voter accreditation machines. According to him, both thumbprinting and facial recognition methods were being effectively managed by election officials.
Abiodun also lauded the impressive turnout of voters at his polling unit, describing it as a sign that citizens are willing and ready to actively participate in governance.
